Now playing lists what is on screens in your region, while upcoming shows release dates still ahead. Both are handy when you are deciding between a cinema trip and a night in, and the year filter lets you go back through any year you like.
Movie information and details
Open any movie and you get the backdrop, overview, runtime, release date, original language and the main cast with their character names. Ratings come with their vote count, which matters: an 8.9 from four hundred people means something different from an 8.9 from four hundred thousand.
How to find a movie

Watching and availability
Movie pages include a player for titles we are licensed to stream, marked with a badge on the poster so you can spot them at a glance. Where no authorised source exists, the page says so plainly instead of leaving a broken frame, and you still get the full details and the trailer.

Where does the movie information come from?
All titles, posters, ratings, runtimes and cast details come from The Movie Database API. Nothing is written by hand, so the details you read match the TMDb record at the time the page loaded.
How current are the ratings?
Ratings refresh whenever the cached copy expires, which is a few hours by default. Scores move as new votes come in, so a figure can shift slightly between visits, particularly for a new release.
Can I search by actor or director?
Search covers movie titles. If you are looking for an actor’s work, open a film they appear in and the cast section lists the main performers along with the characters they played.
Why do some movies have no poster or overview?
TMDb is community maintained and smaller or older releases sometimes have gaps. Where an image or summary is missing, the page shows a neutral placeholder rather than an empty box.
Do you have TV shows?
No. This site covers movies only, which keeps search, filters and recommendations focused on films.
Can I watch full movies here?
Only titles we hold the rights to, which carry a badge on the poster. Everything else shows details, cast and related films instead.
